Young Annabelle laid in her bed, thinking about what she would be doing tonight. "You're only six years old, you shouldn't be thinkin' about this." A small voice in her mind whispered. Her alarm clock went off silently, blinking 12:00 PM. It's time to go. Annabelle quickly made sure that everyone asleep before she made her grand escape. Her small chubby hands twisted the metallic doorknob, a rich breeze blowing through her house as she opened it.
She turned one look away into the old house and inspected the items. Pictures of her smiling so very happily with her parents and brother. A monumental sigh as she stepped out in the summer night to explore the streets for months. She took a step on the lukewarm pavement, slightly scratching her skin. Annabelle closed the door quietly and stretched. "Where am I going to stay?" That single thought resounded in her head before she found one single lady. Her green eyes glowed with jocular excitement.
Annabelle gotten attached to this certain lady and lived with her until she was fourteen. When she was fourteen, she made once more a rebellious act. Her fingers wanted to put out all the anger from back when She was six but couldn't lay a hand on her joyous owner. "I can't. She saved me from those dangers." She closed her hands, flashbacks of what kind of horrors she faced. "I'm such an idiot. I could stay in my warm covers and be sleeping but I don't know anymore." Annabelle opened her window. The winter air bit her nose, her eyes watering from it.
Jumping out, she tried to run away from it all. She tried to forget that she met the girl for she would miss her. Her eyes focused to the lights of a police station. "Should I?" She mouthed, thinking. "It would be for the best." That same small voice scratched out. With a quick nod, she went inside. The warm thick air surrounding her. She looked around the waiting room, everyone looking either sad or angered. It was a gloomy place but then again, she was always around that when she was six years old.
Annabelle stayed there for two more dreadful years. A boy with beautiful blonde hair laid his head on her shoulder, sleeping peacefully. "Austin, you utter dork." Suddenly, a girl with premium blonde walked in like she owned everything. "Austin, wake up!" She screamed in Austin's ear. "That isnt okay..." Annabelle thought in the back of her mind. Austin, being the heavy sleep he is, didn't wake up. Annabelle took the pledge of slightly shaking Austin's arm, which of course he woke up. "Oh, hello Annabelle. Ahh! Cali!" His face immediately brightened by the rich looking girl.
She assumed this 'Cali' was his girlfriend. "She looks pretty rich. If she lives in a bigger home, then why doesn't she invite him to sleep over with her?" Annabelle was extremely confused but she shook it off. They continued to bicker. They didn't even notice Annabelle walking away. Annabelle was going to start school. She hasn't been in school in so long, she didn't know much anymore.
Annabelle walked into the humid place that they called "school." A bunch of smelly teens walking around, spreading their acne and scent onto others. Cali and Austin were standing by a locker, absolutely consumed into each other as their lips moved along aggressively. A quick "Ew" before she treaded over to her locker. She picked that lock and opened it, tissues and gum. "How pleasant." Annabelle thought sarcastically. Oh well, she will have to deal with this. Annabelle quickly ran to class as she took a quick glance at the clock. "Music class is first. I hate music." She said outloud, not caring of the looks she'd get.
Annabelle walked into her classroom, a colorfully painted room. Of course, all it was was introducing people and the teacher herself. What a class to start her day off with. Annabelle sang for a while but was quickly rushed out to the bathroom by a constant booing of Cali. What a foolish thought it was to think Annabelle was nice.
